Houston trip

The wife and I had a great time in Texas. Drove to La Porte and visited kinfolks Sunday. Went to the Houston livestock show and rodeo Monday. We had a good time walking around checking out all the displays. Caught Jamie Richards over by the John Deere display singing some tunes. So we followed him over to the hideout to see the setup. Then the rodeo Wow that was a blast the calf scramble and the chuckwagon races were so much fun to watch. Then off to the hideout. That was the largest gig I have… Continue

crossroads

The family went to see Jamie Richards acoustic show at Firelake Grand Casino wed. night and Wayne Newton was playing in the events center. After wayne's show one of the concert violinist came over to the sports bar for a drink. We all got to here orange blossom special on a $250,000 violin/fiddle as well as some faded love and a few classical pieces. Jamie had a lot of fun and so did everyone else you just never know what is in store at one of Jamie's shows

Well the band started out as a rock band playing some country, but then their front man decided to go off on his own and play strictly rock. The rest of the guys are definitely country, so they decided to start over again. So to answer your question, no they don't have a myspace page. However I can be contacted at crazycatlady584@yahoo.com as I will be doing most of the band's bookings, etc. or they can contact Charlie Dempsey at cdemps7@yahoo.com. He is the lead guitar player.

Hey I am seeing you are a Jamie Richards fan. That is cool. Great Band! My boyfriend Charlie and I went to Carthage Saturday night to see Reckless Kelly and Paul Eason Band. Reckless Kelly was fantastic! You never know what to expect out of those guys! Really put on a great gig! Paul Eason Band was very good too! Terrific Fiddle and Mando player in the band.
Anyhow, thanks again for your help!

As I was leaving a woman fell and hit her head really hard on the concrete. Her friend was just standing there. Another gentleman kept her neck immobilized while I held her hand and waited for ems to arrive. I'm sure she had a concussion. Her pupils were unresponsive to light and she was bleeding from her ear. Other than that it was a great night of beer BBQ and Texas music. I'll have to catch Jamie at Blancos on the 14th.
