Born in Phoenix, AZ, on 9/11/88
Raised in Wichita Falls, TX
Guitarist -Singer/Songwriter - Performer
He took to the stage at 15
Well over 500 live shows in the last 4 years
Johnny is well on his way and having a blast.
HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
“Live At The Pub” CD at: Iron Horse Pub in Wichita Falls.
Recorded September 13, 2004 -his first live CD
April 2005: released "Live at the Pub" Won Best Live CD of 2006 Entertainer of the Year in 2006 and 2007 "Oklahoma Music Awards"
Over 3,500 units moved to date
"Ignition" CD Johnny's first studio project
Recorded in February '06 at Cedar Creek Studios in Austin
Produced by Mike McClure CD
includes 10 original compositions.
May of '07 it was picked up and distributed by Smith Entertainment
CD is now available at music stores throughout Texas and Oklahoma

Johnny has had the great fortune of working with and being inspired by many musicians not only on the local level but national level as well. He very much enjoys the opportunity to perform with, write with, and just hang around with musicians from all genres and walks of life.
Johnny’s career has taken him to: Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico and as far north as Steamboat Springs, CO and as far south as Mexico. A career highlight has been his trip overseas on a 6-day tour of Ireland in June of '07.
Johnny's ambition and passion for writing and performing creates the focus of making records and touring full time with his Band and when it’s all said and done, he’s just: “Keepin’ it about the music”.

If you have never seen Johnny and Jason perform acoustically at Old Town then Its a show you don't want to miss. Lots of laughs, great drinks, and incredible music! It's Free to get in however you must be 21+.

JOHNNY COOPER RIDES IN A BLACKHAWK
(Left to Right) Coordinator Steve Burrow, Crew Chief Steve Margetko, Pilot CW2 Steve Madden, Duke Graham, bassist Buddy Suggs, guitarist Jason Brown, Johnny Cooper, guitarist Dean Faulkner, Christine Luciano, Jimmy Cooper, Michael Weaver and Pilot in Command Joshua Liff. Missing is Crew Chief Rex Mitchell and Susie Dodd taking the photo. Both pilots sit up front...commander on left.
Crew Chiefs behind them on each side are trained to operate the side guns as well as all other functions of the craft. Then there were seats for 10 troops. All the persons in the photo plus two more were on this flight. We were instructed that in case the craft went down, stay inside until the rotors stop spinning unless burning fuel or fluids prevented so. Then exit the craft at 90 degree angles as low to the ground as possible and meet in front of the vehicle 50 feet from the nose of the craft. When asked how much the chopper cost, the pilot said he had never crashed one and therefore had never gotten a bill.
